First time coming to this place, and the food was awesome. California soul food has nothing on this place

Service and atmosphere were great. Food however, was mediocre at best. I had the meatloaf blue plate special with black eyed peas, glazed carrots and mashed potatoes. The meatloaf was ok, glazed carrots were excellent, black eyed peas good and mashed potatoes were ok. Rolls were good but corn bread was very dry, with little flavor.

Great fresh food, good service and the food came out very quickly! Only has a tiny issue of them putting gravy on the chicken fried steak instead of the side, but that’s nothing to get upset about! All over loved the restaurant and will come back!
